Boutique two-step instruction in Austin, Texas. Deep roots. Slick boots.

What we do

Native Texan Two Step is a boutique dance company in Austin, Texas. We teach two-step, polka, waltz, cumbia, and tejano - the dances that built Texas honky tonk culture, taught the way they're meant to be danced.

We're not a chain studio and we're not a hobby project. We're a small team of working dancers and instructors who care about the craft, the community, and the people we get to teach. Whether you're looking to bring an unforgettable experience to your event or you want to feel at home on a dance floor, we'd love to dance with you.

Two ways to dance with us

Plan an Event

Corporate parties, weddings, and private events that people remember. We bring the music, the moves, and a team who knows how to work a room. Tell us about your event and we'll build something custom.

Take a Lesson

Private lessons, group workshops, and weekly public classes at Highball. Whether you've never danced a step or you're ready to refine your craft, we've got something for you.

The Team

Native Texan is led by founder Eric Moreno, alongside instructors Keighley Voorheis and Sam Lombardo, and creative director Meg Frampton. Together, we produce the best two-steppers in Austin and we'd be lying if we said we didn't have fun doing it.
